It finally feels like spring is actually here. I swear, I was beginning to think we were going to skip spring altogether and head straight into summer. It’s been cloudy and rainy and cool and I know we’ve needed the rain, but when the weather is better in London for more than a few days, I get depressed.

The nice weather makes me want to actually get out of the house and go do fun stuff. I recently got a few new camera toys to play with, so I’m thinking about heading out to the National Arboretum or the Botanical Gardens or something like that in the next week or so just to be somewhere pretty and play with the camera a bit and the new macro toys I got. Another option would be to take a drive to the mountains, but I prefer doing that in the fall when all the golden colors are really bright.

There certainly is a lot to see around the DC area that is photo worthy – and for as long as I’ve lived here (about 8 years), there is still so much I haven’t gone to see. So, I’m thinking it’s time to get out of the house and get some practice in.

Ahhh spring!
