Destruction

The lot next door to where I work is preparing to undergo some construction. First step – destruction! A few months ago there were still trees there. Anyway, for the past couple weeks they have been setting off charges — that must be fun. When the charges go off it shakes the building I work in — feels like a small earthquake. Or at least what I imagine a small earthquake would feel like, I’ve never experienced one of those. Sometimes car alarms even go off.
Well, today, I took in my camera and filmed today’s explosion. It wasn’t bad! It’s been really wet lately, so I’m sure the ground is heavy making the blast a little shorter. Even still it was fun to watch – from a safe distance. I took this video from the 6th floor of our building.
